FLP Connect Program Description
Helping to create work environments that are personally accountable and self-led
Beyond Teal presents the Facilitative Leadership Connect Program, based on the work of Bruce Peters, CEO of Beyond Teal.
This is a highly interactive, customized, and personal program, designed for people who cannot attend our FLP Program in-person. This program is structured to be 4 sessions of 2 hours each. Also included is a Pre-Program Prep 121 Session and a Post-Program Debrief & Learning Plan 121 Session with Bruce. All sessions will be held via Zoom.us.
FLP Connect includes a module called Creating & Guiding Self-Led Teams, based on the principals of Teal and Self-Led and is led by Bruce Peters.
How the Program Works
- Four, 2-hour sessions devoted to creating personal development and leadership growth
- Pre and Post Session private one-to-one session with Bruce Peters.
Session One - Being a Leader: Learn how to first lead yourself and then others!
- Leadership Defined and Designed: Inside and Out
- Group Dynamics: The Story of Teams and How to Lead Them Effectively
- Obligations: Leaders and Followers
- Assessment: Leadership and Followership
- Clarity and Commitment in the Organizations DNA
Session Two - Building a High Performance Organization and Teams
- Seven Core Stratagems
- Concept and Importance of Roles
- How to Make Performance Necessary
- Introduction to the "Requisite Organization"
Session Three - Creating & Guiding Self-Led Teams
- Understanding organizational development stages
- Review the fundamentals and design for self leadership in teams and organizations
- Discovery and Decision process for accessing:
- 1. where you and your organization are now
- 2. where you want to go
- 3. creation of the plan for getting started and next steps
- Learn system for matching of roles, capabilities to the required levels of work using principles of timespan and stages of development
Session Four - "Tools in the Toolkit" - Learn the Six Essential Skills of Facilitative Leadership
- Understanding communication and “framing”
- Being accomplished at leading with questions
- Achieving mastery of “Improv” techniques
- Putting the ensemble, and keeping the ensemble, on course
- Ingeniously fulfilling the ever-changing demands of their role
- Optimizing individual returns from group performance

Commitment / Investment
